I’m watching but not actingI figure that everyone that would read this blog would read a lot more intelligent areas for news, so I didn’t see the need to write stuff like the market is under pressure from the bail out crap. I’m watching BIDU come down from a higher amount. Same with lots of other stocks that I am watching. What are you watching? 10/3/2008 11:53 am
Covered 2,200 BIDU @ $235, profit $26,026The bottom isn’t in yet, but I’ve made enough on this deal to be quite content and will just pull back and enjoy the victories as they come. I thought about covering a percentage of the position and then covering more later, but that never seems to work out for me. Besides, I just made $26,026 and need to get back to my full-time job… 10/2/2008 12:02 pm
Short 2,200 BIDU @ $247Alright, jump on now while you can. Or not. I’m gambling over a HALF MILLION DOLLARS on this trade. I just wanted to get into this position as soon as I could. I’m using the majority of my account (with 4:1 margin!) in order to short this many shares. It’s really not a smart move because the weakness isn’t showing in the market or in BIDU, but I just wanted to play a crazy game of trading and sort of pushed this trade. 10/2/2008 8:02 am
Sold 1,500 BIDU @ $246, profit $11,745I’m not seeing the climb that I thought I would and actually think that BIDU could wind up turning in on itself and imploding (well, just dropping past my entry point). Even though I do think the market has upward potential today and beyond, I’m not seeing that potential in BIDU so I’m closing my position with some profits and letting time go by. 09/30/2008 9:12 am

I’m winning the race to $0I’m definitely leading in the race to $0 thanks to JCPenneys (JCP). I have absolutely no desire to blog in detail about the horror of it, so I’m not going to. 01/2/2008 5:50 pm
EOD -$11New Year’s Eve. It was an account-goes-nowhere day for me. A couple of daytrades left me down $11 for the day. It’s fine for me if I take small steps backwards then take big steps forward. This hasn’t happened since the Retard Race started 6 weeks ago but things can happen fast when trading options. 12/31/2007 11:31 pm
